Abush and Suzy’s love story was just a follow away. They caught each other’s eye when they attended a live party on Instagram hosted by DJ Sammy Sam during the pandemic. Though their love started on the app, it felt as if they knew each other for a long time. They had plenty of time to get to know one another since Abush was in California and Suzy was in Michigan but that didn’t stop them from growing their love.

The day started off as romantic and heartfelt as imagined, the proposal was staged on a hot air balloon with their heads up in the clouds. The sun was so beautiful while floating 4,600 feet in the air guided by the cool breeze of the gentle wind. Abush surprised her by creating a personalized custom love song for Suzy and an animation of their love story, he got down on one knee and popped the question. And of course, Suzy said yes.
